Abstract

Anatomy is a very important discipline for life and health sciences. Present in history since the most remote times, it has
been a focus of attention not only for science, but also for art, religion and ethics. From a historical point of view, every time the
discipline has passed by controversy and defamation moments, there existed an ethical component involved regarding the attitude to
the corpse, the direct source of the discipline study. In this work we will approach the different moments and facts that accompany
Human Anatomy through history and to question, in the light of bioethics and philosophy, the behavior of people before, during and
after the contact with the corpse in Human Anatomy lessons, seeking to reflect on the preservation of respect and dignity after death.
