The reorientation of psychiatric assistance from a hospital-centered model to a model of extra-hospital attention made
possible the constitution of alternative services to the integral hospital isolation and the implantation of psycho-social technologies that
have entailed the concretization of a differentiated, singular and more humanized care. Thus, this work aimed to analyze the perception
of professionals of a team working in a Center of Psycho-Social Attention – CAPS, of the municipality of Campinas, Sao Paulo, about
the reception and care of its users. The investigation had as a basis a qualitative and descriptive approach: half-structured interviews
have been realized with professionals of the team working in the service. The analysis of the material developed the different senses
attributed to service reception practices. They appear from perspectives such as: access, listens to qualified, technical and reorganization
of the work processes.
