Abstract

This study aims to present some of the concerns contemporary scholars analyze about the question of spirituality, health
and scientific knowledge and religion. In this perspective one initially presents a view of spirituality, followed by a critical presentation
of neurotheology. We then consider the relationship between science and religion having as reference some research of famous investigators
of the area. Next we emphasize the position of harmony between scientific and religious knowledge of Francis Collins, the
Director of Human Genome Project. We also present research in course in laboratories that try to prove that “to believe” is good for
health (spirituality of evidence)
