Abstract

ABSTRACT: The present paper demonstrates the perception of the user/listener of the radio program Communitarian Health, broadcasted
once a week at 10:30 A.M. at the Communitarian FM Radio of Rio Negro, Mato Grosso do Sul State, since June 2005 and currently in its
44th consecutive edition. The radio Program Communitarian Health aims to debate information on health and the rights of users of SUS
- Unified Health System, as a way to make health service and, in special, the educative programs of the Program Health of the Family
nearer to users. It is a opinion survey of a descriptive kind, which interviewed 101 families at their home. Due to the research some
changes in the program were done in order to improve information on health given to the community, mainly from agricultural areas.
