Abstract

This study had as its objective to identify the measures recommended for the preoperative in surgeries of revascularization
of the myocardium, according to the literature, and to create an instrument for evaluation and preparation of the customer in the
related surgery’s preoperative period. A study of literature survey was carried through using textbooks and publications indexed in the
databases of MEDLINE, LILACS and SCIELO. The information was grouped in six categories: general data on preoperative, preoperative
in cardiac surgery, general nursing actions in preoperative, examinations, used medications and preparation of the customer. From the
grouped categories an instrument for the preparation of the customer in surgeries of revascularization of the myocardium and created
a manual for using the instrument.
