The increasing competitiveness conditions, the highest technology level, the remuneration difficulties of the service providers,
the demand for a better attention quality, the increase in the average life expectancy of the population, and the discovery of
new therapeutic options summarize the need of the health organization for accepting more professional management levels. As the
economic resources destined for health are usually lower than the needs, it is fundamental that the managers of these organizations
adopt working practices towards the continuous qualification of the employees. It is imperative that, in addition to an environment
turned to learning, there are the involvement and the commitment of the leaders in these organizations, so that the employees are
stimulated and invited to participate in this development process. This paper proposed identifying the organizational learning processes
adopted in private hospitals from the theoretical background about organizational learning and culture. The analysis of the facilitating
factors in learning from the DiBella and Nevis model is sought to be deepened.
