Abstract

Postural alterations are considered a public health problem, in view of their high incidence on the population, incapacitating
individuals, definitively or temporarily, for doing their activities. Postural evaluation is important in any physical examination, both in
rehabilitation and for prevention, where we can make individuals to have conditions to change inadequate or inefficient habits. The main
goal of this study is to evaluate the incidence of postural alterations in practicing federate butterfly swimmers in the tests for 100 and
200 meters. This study was carried through by means of digital photography, using marking adhesives in pre-defined anatomy points,
making possible the analysis by means of a computer program called posturogram Version 2.8 of the Fisiometer platform, a device that
when analyzing digital photos gives a measure in centimeters or meters of structures that are being evaluated, allowing an objective
postural evaluation of practicing Butterfly swimmers. In accordance with the results it was possible to verify the occurrence of scoliosis,
spike inferior angle misalignment, glabela misalignment, right gibbus, tales angle asymmetry, a trend to assume cifotic position, as well
as hip and lower member asymmetry of.
