This is a qualitative phenomenological study carried through from reports of 15 adolescents who had lived deeply the repetition
of paternity/maternity in adolescence. The results evidenced five thematic categories, all of which were analyzed and interpreted
according to Alfred Schütz’ theoretical-philosophical theses. Amongst these categories coming from reports, one was the most relevant,
namely, “Living deeply losses and profits”, which is explored in the paper aiming to encourage reflection on existential aspects of the
experience of recurrent parenting in this phase of the vital cycle.
